Instructor Biographies

Sasha Padron

Sasha Padron lives at the Giving Well Farm with her life partner, Steve and a wee village of fellow nature lovers and land tenders.

She is a doula, Empowered Birth Prep Guide & Yoga Instructor. She is the founder of the Doula Mentorship Program: Awakening the Village. She loves to bring color, brush and image to canvas as another creative way to listen to the unseen realms.

She holds out the vision of gathering the women in circles of love and deep service to Spirit, Heart & Ground.

Marissa Baumeister

Marissa is a farmer and community herbalist who grows medicinal and culinary herbs on her small herb farm in Cobourg, Ontario. All products are crafted with care, from seed to bottle. She hosts workshops and herbal circles for her community to share herbal skills and knowledge and build relationships with plants and people. In her spare time, she enjoys taking walks in the forest, foraging, writing, dipping in creeks and rivers, and feasting with friends

Kate Sutherland

Kate is a multi-creative who loves to (re)unite folks with their own creative passions. When we’re in touch with our creative flow, we dance with creation in a way that allows our fullest expression to emerge as we serve our families and communities as well as ourselves. Kate loves to sing, make art out of the everyday, laugh and stand in wonder at the awe and beauty of creation.

Elizabeth Palermo

Two practices that have been steady companions in my life are yoga and journaling — each an ongoing inquiry into mindful movement and the river of thoughts and feelings. Exploring hatha yoga, Qi Gong, and intuitive movement inspired by the seasons brings me joy. I also love gliding my ballpoint pen across the page (and smelling the ink). I regularly return to Morning Pages from The Artist’s Way, humbled by the reminder of “beginner’s mind.” Over 600 hours of yoga teacher training inform the foundation from which I move with what’s on my heart. I’m drawn to nature’s quiet spaces and vast landscapes that stretch on forever. Writing and reading by deep lakes beneath tall pines brings me peace and back to myself.
