"I want to stand by the river in my finest dress. I want to sing, strong and hard, and stomp my feet with a hundred others so that the waters hum with our happiness. I want to dance for the renewal of the world”
Robin Wall Kimmerer

Friday Morning
Join us for a journey of ancestral connection. We will begin by attuning with ancestors of land and lineage before making offerings and creating a collective altar. With a simple practice, we will invite their presence through tactile connection with our hands. Then, we will journey through the heartbeat of the drum to connect with the ancient ones in spirit realm. Our time will close with singing and sharing, giving voice to those who came before us. No prior experience needed. Please bring a mat or blanket and item for the altar.

Friday Morning
Come and explore the land and share in the wonder of story. Just as all of our stopries are interwoven, so too are the stories of our ecosystem. A meadow vole’s tunnel, a nibbled sumac, a racoon’s paw print, all of these tracks are like chapters of a story we write in collaboration.
So lets go tracking! Which is to say-noticing. And as we bend our faces down to the earth to really look, we give our attention to the other-more-than-human world, which is a gift that moves in all directions.

Friday Morning
Using breath and sound to vibrate the waters inside us, we will listen carefully to the sensations that arise. Being curious about how sensations moves, let them peak your interest. This is how we begin to explore our relatedness to all of life, giving ourself over to the watery movements that formed us.

Friday Afternoon
In this hands on workshop, together we will sew traditional brain tanned buckskin pouches crafted to hold milkweed, a hunters plant ally in revealing wind direction. These pouches will not only serve as a practical tool for hunting but also offer a deeper connection to the land.
Through this process, we will explore the wisdom of reading the landscape from the perspective of a deer hunter-learning how to interpret wind patterns, read deer sign and understand ecosystem in a way that enhances our hunting and survival skills.

Friday Afternoon
You are invited into a rich experience of a gently guided self reflection, soft magic, and community support. We will witness each other and both give and receive care.
Each person will experience a personal tarot card reading, then embody it through a co created ritual. You will be offered a plant ally to work with should you choose to, as pointed to by the cards.
Come be held, and carry forward a potent reminder of the path under your feet and the courage in your heart.

Friday Afternoon
In this session, we will spend time exploring the land using our senses - sights, smells and touch. We will find different plant allies, ask lots of questions and share with each other about what we are called to on the landscape.Using plants and bird calls as inspiration, we will also create time for some internal reflection and curiosity.
We will play and create new ways to name things and practice creating connections and memories of the more than human world. This session is intended to be a fun and engaging spin on a naturalist walk, as we look to ourselves as the experts.

Saturday Morning
Discover the art of harvesting and drinking Wild and Spring water in this hands-on workshop. Learn how to locate natural springs, harvest and store water, and understand the dangers and benefits of drinking wild water.
We’ll also explore crafting water filters from natural materials and the essential skills for drinking safely in survival situations. We will also dive deeper into my favourite water rituals that honor this life-giving Source. Having exclusively consumed wild and spring water for over 10+ years, I’m devoted to empowering others with the knowledge to access clean, healthy, and sacred water.
May your blood flow with the waters of the land.

Saturday Morning
Let’s immerse ourselves in ceremony together, in honour of Beltane and the celebration that marks the transition of seasons! It is time to reclaim our birthright of pleasure.
Together, we are going to weave along a pleasure path that flows as a sacred circle and fuses guided meditation, large group discussion, embodied self exploration and experiential somatic practices.
Let’s shed old skin so we can come alive again, listen to the call of our bodies, and rejoice in our own vitality!

Saturday Morning
How might we tend to our tissues in ways that allow for a radically wide range of creative expression with our entire human form? This is the essence of feminine creativity.
In this workshop we ground inside our own tissues by exploring the anatomy of human fluid systems. This visceral understanding is layered onto the anatomy of Place using the ancient technology of myth.
From this somatic terrain, we explore touch & movement with each other as a way of tending to our tissues with loving presence. This is cultural bodywork, from the deep inside out.

Saturday Afternoon
In the days following the New Moon, the waxing crescent energy shifts towards growth and forwards movement. This workshop guides you through gentle somatics, yoga, and Qi Gong to tap into that building energy. While we focus on fluid movement we will also create space for reflection, honouring where you are in life right now, as you move towards the intentions you set.
Journalling prompts will encourage reflection and reconnection with your inner abundance and resilience, grounding into self worth.

Saturday Afternoon
Together we will learn more about the benefits of this ancient practice, honour the plants that will be supporting us, use gentle movement, warming self- massage, simple breath work and a guided meditation in preparation for receiving the goodness of the herbal yoni steam. We will compete our time with space to ground and integrate the practice.
We will take the opportunity to come into circle and enjoy this luscious nourishing ritual together, to experience the sweetness of creating a space to connect deeply to our feminine essence, our hearts, our hands and our womb love.
-
Saturday Afternoon
Draw (out) your inner Goddess! Using mixed drawing media, explore self-portraiture using inspiration from the natural world. Kate will guide you in the basics of drawing a portrait, including proportions, capturing character, etc. Blend realism with expressionism as you weave in personal elements of meaning from the wild world. Bring a mirror and reference photos if desired, (ex. my kindred bird is Raven and my essential flower is Wild Rose-bring photos!)
There will be the option to use realtime reference to what surrounds us on the land, as well as drawing from our imaginations and memories.

Saturday Afternoon
Join us as we explore the world of adaptogens and nervine herbs such as rose, chamomile, milky oats, tulsi, and more. These common, gentle, yet powerful plants are remedies to our fast-paced world. Learn the ways of using them in your daily rituals in the form of teas, tinctures, baths, soaks, and body oiling.
These herbs are used for relaxation, in times of stress, and for rejuvenating an overburdened nervous system, especially due to the taxing nature of our modern society. Join me as we imbibe them as tea and tincture and anoint our bodies with their fragrant and soothing aromas.

This Spring, we are lucky to be returning to Coyote Tales Farm Studio in Bancroft, Ontario.
Coyote Tales is a beautiful sprawling farm and forest, tended with loving hands and heart by Abby Fry. It has become a sanctuary for many of our community already as Abby has long been tending the hearth of traditional land-based skills. We hope that we can feed her vision through our gathering, as she will be feeding ours. You can learn more on her website, https://coyotetales.ca
Evening Programming
In the evenings, we love to have different gatherings happening within the larger whole. In the past, this has looked like Trading Blanket, Song Circles, Storytelling around the fire, and more. We like to keep a lot of this a surprise, so we won’t be sharing too much more here on that note.

There is the option to enjoy some yummy wholesome food throughout the whole gathering. We will provide three meals a day along with snacks, coffee and tea. Our delicious and lovingly made meals will have GF, DF options as well as different proteins.
