Instructor Biographies

Cadence

Cadence is the proud granddaughter of long lineages of ancestors who hail from across the Celtic, Norse, and Slavic lands as well as Turtle Island. She has dedicated her life to weaving webs of interconnection and remembrance through song, journeying, ceremony, ritual, and more. Guided by the wisdom of the land, presence of spirit, and love of ancestors; she is blessed to be of service to the sacred work of healing and remembering

Miki

I’m Miki, a wildlife biologist and artist currently exploring the banks of the Eramosa River as a teacher at the Guelph Outdoor School. I am devoted to learning from and celebrating the relationships between all living beings- especially the other animals on this planet. With experience training birds of prey, rehabilitating wildlife, and crafting with animals’ bodies I am endlessly grateful to our non-human siblings and their generosity and wisdom. I wouldn’t be me without them!

Kim

I love offering the opportunity and permission to explore and discover the movement that our magnificent and mysterious bodies are capable of. Nature speaks in movement and to invoke that movement in my own body, becoming Nature, I can open to a communion of resonance. That is what I am most passionate about. I have taught Continuum for 30+ years, in Europe and North America. For a more in depth explanation of Continuum please visit http://www.redcanoestudio.com/continuum.html, and
